Stillness and Noise, the inner city as living environment
The inner city of Rotterdam becomes more densely populated. Increased numbers of residents, visitors, restaurants and bars, shops and events create liveliness
in the city. AIR and Arminius will look for the tension between increased dynamics and residential quietude, between festivalization and relaxation, to discover a city centre in which stillness and noise reinforce each other.
