On June 1, 2018, the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam (IABR) will launch its eighth edition. This two-yearly event builds a bridge between designers, cities, governments and the general public. This time architectural designers are invited to think about how they can contribute in better and smarter ways to reaching climate goals, such as the Paris Climate Agreement. What is holding us back; What is THE MISSING LINK? To coincide with the exhibition, IABR organises a complementary programme every day.
HAKA-building, main location IABR 2018
The HAKA-building will become an exhibition area and workspace until 8 July 2018. This year’s theme is ‘Sustainable Development Goals’. Visitors are invited to share their ideas about future cities. The future is presented using videos, photographs and scale models. There will also be lectures, debates and workshops.
